Thoughtfully Designed for All Dogs
At Clarkstone Pet Lodge, your dog is never just “one more” furry face in the crowd. Here, we go above and beyond to ensure guests always feel at home.
Our philosophy is simple: comfort + enrichment + personal attention = happy pets and happy families.
Why Boarding at Clarkstone Feels Different
Our boarding experience begins with space—real space.
Our facility is located on a private 85-acre farm in historic Greencastle, PA, complete with creeks, wooded areas, rolling fields, and shaded trails that make every stay feel more like a country getaway than a traditional boarding visit.
Beyond open land, our purpose-built lodge offers room to move, rest, and recharge, with thoughtfully designed spaces that support both activity and comfort:
- Over 12,000 sq. ft. of combined indoor and outdoor facility space
- 3,500 sq. ft. of climate-controlled indoor space
- 2,000 sq. ft. of covered outdoor runs
- 6,500 sq. ft. of divided outdoor play areas
- 26 individual indoor-outdoor runs, available in multiple sizes
Boarding guests relax in private suites designed to comfortably accommodate dogs of all breeds—or compatible family dogs sharing a space. With a spacious indoor playroom, covered outdoor access, and multiple outdoor play yards, our environment allows each dog’s day to be tailored with the right balance of play, social interaction, and quiet downtime.
It’s this combination of wide-open countryside and carefully designed accommodations that sets Clarkstone apart—and helps dogs settle in, relax, and truly enjoy their time away from home.
Tailored Comfort for Every Guest
Here, boarding suites offer a private space where pups can unwind, rest deeply, and feel secure and supported at all times.
Features include:
- Indoor/outdoor accommodations with climate control
- Raised beds, cozy blankets, and familiar spaces for comfort
- Individual storage lockers for food, toys, and belongings
- Calming music & TV, creating a soothing environment
- Daily sanitization with air purification systems
- Secure, monitored access with multiple layers of safety
Our suites are sized to match your dog’s body and personality—from snug comfort spaces to larger rooms for pups who like room to stretch.
Personal Attention, Day After Day
We don’t believe in “one size fits all” care. Your dog’s day is shaped around their personality, activity level, and comfort zone.
Supervised Group Play
If your dog thrives on social time with other guests, we will gently introduce them to compatible playmates for structured, positive, supervised play in our secure outdoor yards or indoor play areas.
One-on-One Time
For pets who prefer focused human interaction, we offer individual walks, enrichment games, and cuddle time—a chance to bond and unwind beyond group activities.
Outdoor Adventures & Quiet Moments
Between play sessions, dogs enjoy supervised access to shaded trails, open fields, and peaceful corners where they can soak up sunshine, explore, or rest.
Every day is balanced with activity and ample relaxation, so your dog returns home happy, calm, and loved.

Can I see the facility before booking?
Yes—tours and meet-and-greets by appointment are highly recommended so you and your dog can feel comfortable and confident.
How far in advance should we make our reservation?
It is highly recommended to make your reservation as soon as possible due to lodging availability especially around peak times of year such as holidays, vacation times, children out of school, etc. We do allow refund of deposit up to 30 days prior to reservation.
What happens if my dog doesn’t want to participate in group play?
Guests are never forced to participate in group play. We offer calm one-on-one time instead.
